Every new SpotTradeJournal account starts with a 7-day free trial that includes full access to all Pro features. No credit card is required to start, and you will not be charged unless you actively choose to subscribe after the trial ends.
Because of this, we do not issue refunds for the trial period — you weren't charged anything.
Here's exactly when you can and cannot get a refund:
If a bug, server error, or issue on our side caused you to lose data, prevented you from accessing the service for an extended period, or resulted in a billing error — contact us within 14 days and we will issue a full refund for the affected billing period.
If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge immediately upon verification.
If you cancelled your subscription and were still charged after the cancellation date, we will refund that charge in full.
If you subscribed after your trial and feel the service wasn't what you expected, contact us within 7 days of your first charge. We'll review your case and may offer a full refund at our discretion. We ask that you let us know what didn't meet your expectations so we can improve.
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
If your account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you are not eligible for a refund.
We send email reminders before each billing renewal. Forgetting to cancel before the renewal date does not qualify for a refund. We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date if you no longer wish to use the service.

Your account stays active until the end of your current billing period. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately after cancellation.
You can also email billing@spottradejournal.com and we'll cancel it for you within 24 hours.
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. We resolve legitimate billing issues quickly, and a chargeback results in your account being permanently suspended.
If you believe you've been charged in error, please email us first — we'll resolve it faster than a chargeback process.
